Research and Justification
Access to healthcare services in Catron County is a historical issue, traced back to the frontier days. To close some of the gaps in care, CCC is looking at common-sense community-led solutions that are sustainable in the long-term. As community members, we know how that can look and work here, but as practitioners, our board knows that communities like ours are rarely studied, and therefore, rarely published about in a way that would afford us funding to build a robust medical network that would actually WORK for us.
Here we will post our research and findings for potential partners and donors to understand the impacts of lack of access to care in our County, who we are reaching and how, and how by closing some of the gaps in care we might be able to improve our overall health outcomes.
